Veteran Software Innovator Joins Online Ordering Enablement Platform for Restaurants to Lead Product Expansion.

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. MAY 2019 — Ordermark, the nation’s fastest growing online ordering enablement platform for restaurants today announced it has hired Arpan Desai as its new Chief Technology Officer. With over 20 years experience in software, engineering, and technology for companies including Microsoft, Nokia, and Razorgator, Desai will lead Ordermark’s engineering team.

“The solutions we provide are mission-critical and require expertise in scaling complex process automation solutions for tens of thousands of restaurants nationwide,” said Alex Canter, CEO of Ordermark. “Arpan has architected similar mission-critical solutions for businesses including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and PepsiCo, and his expertise is hard to find. We’re thrilled to have him leading our engineering team.”

Most recently, Desai was CTO of Razorgator where he led the engineering teams responsible for the e-commerce site and their enterprise SaaS solution which serviced Fortune 50 clients. Prior to that, Desai worked for Microsoft on technologies ranging from cell phones to enterprise solutions.

“I’m pleased to be joining a company that’s so committed to high-quality solutions,” said Desai. “Oftentimes, fast-growing companies shortchange their customers by sacrificing reliability for speed. Because Ordermark was born in a restaurant, the company understands that data integrity and system reliability are job number one.”

As part of this change, Ordermark’s former CTO, data engineering authority Gary Abrams, will assume the role of CIO, with responsibility for bringing innovative marketing solutions that leverage data to restaurant customers.
